Chef Kost has over a decade of experience in the culinary field. His desire for more time with his family and a need to connect with the Kitsap community spurred him to start a business in the West Sound. “As a commuter myself I know how little time we have with our families. There has to be a better alternative than stopping for take-out on the way home or eating from a box.” Roaming Gourmet Personal Chef service offers customized meal plans featuring fresh ingredients, prepared from scratch in the customer’s home. “This way we can charge only for the food and service, not the expense of a commercial kitchen,” explains Chef Kost. “plus it makes the experience more personal.”

Customers of The Roaming Gourmet receive an hour-long initial consultation to discuss dietary needs, as well as family likes and dislikes. Clients may choose from The Roaming GourmetÂ’s extensive menu selections or Chef Kost will customize a weekly menu that meets their needs perfectly. The Roaming Gourmet provides the shopping, meal preparation, packaging, clean-up and reheating instructions.

Cook and Carry Cuisine of Kirkland, Fischiare La Fermata of Bremerton, Place Pigalle and Leo Melina, both of Seattle. He is also an experienced caterer, cooking instructor, public demonstrator and restaurant consultant.
